The Moh’s hardness is 5 – 5,5.
The mineralogical name Titanite derives from the titanium contents.
It has an unique intensive fire and play of colors.
Deposits are found in Burma (Myanmar), Brazil, Mexico, Sri Lanka and Madagascar.
